Getting stuck in a haggling battle. How important is an extra $1 to you for those imitation Nikes? Most cultures livelihood thrives on tourists paying extra for imitation goods, you might be feeding their family for a week! I tend to bring a currency converter card (below) with me in my wallet EVERYWHERE I go.. this way when you are stuck amidst a bartering battle you can have a reference point! It may also save you from getting ripped off as well when you confuse 1 million for 1 thousand!

Vietnamese dong has a ridiculously large currency conversion- this way you will make sure that $10 your battling for isn’t actually $100!
